The acceptance of enrolment at GENERATION DANCE CO is based on agreement to the following Terms and conditions:
• At GENERATION DANCE CO you are committing to a year of dance tuition as well as an end of year performance/concert. Students work together to master their choreorgraphy and entertain family and friends by showcasing their progress and achievements from a year of hard work and dedication. The date of this years Concert is Monday the 29th of November , 2021.
• All Students must enrol online at www.gendanceco.com.au prior to attending the first class. (After initial introductory class if applicable) Enrolment will automatically be rolled over through Terms 1 to 4.
• Class fees are to be paid by the Term in advance; late fees apply of 10%, with an increase of 2.5% each week thereafter. Where an account remains unpaid for more than 4 weeks and no effort have been made to communicate or make payment on time the said student will not be permitted to attend class, and all invoices will be referred to a debt collection agency. Term Invoices are compiled based on an average 10 week Term. While some Terms are shorter/longer than others and may contain public holidays, invoices are not altered. The possible alteration in the number of Term classes is balanced out over the 4 Terms and by additional classes for performances and concerts. An invoice for Term fees will be issued 2 weeks prior to the start of each new Term and is payable prior to commencement of the Term. Term fees are not refundable should a student withdraw, there is no credits for missed classes.
• Appropriate Dance Shoes and Dance clothing are required to participate in any class. Students who do not conform will be prohibited from participation in the class.
• It will be assumed unless otherwise advised, that each student will participate in the end of year concert, and all compulsory classes pertaining to the performance. A Costume Levy (non refundable)of $100.00 per student is payable by the 30/03/2017. The Costume Levy is used to place deposits on costumes. The Cost of a costume is between $25 -$50. A final balance of costumes will be issued to students at the beginning of November, and is payable in full prior to the Concert Rehearsal for students to be eligible to participate.
• -Title of goods does not pass until payment is made in full.
• -Generation Dance Co does not issue REFUNDS for costumes as suppliers do not accept cancellations, therefore we do not refund costume payments.
• Entry to the studio is by invitation only, parents and students are not permitted to enter
• the studio whilst class is in progress. Viewing of classes takes place at the last class of each term.
• Generation Dance Co reserves the right to cancel a class in the event of poor student attendance that affects the planned content of the class structure.
• All items produced by GENERATION DANCE CO including original music edits, choreography,
• creative concepts, costumes, props & routines remain the property of GENERATION DANCE CO and
• cannot be replicated.
• GENERATION DANCE CO will not be held responsible for any injuries which may occur whilst in class or on the premises, but will seek medical attention for your child immediately if needed. All students dance at own risk in any class or performance held by Generation Dance Co.
• It is the responsibility of the guardian or student to advise GENERATION DANCE CO if
• personal circumstances or information changes.
• Unless otherwise informed GENERATION DANCE CO may use photographs and/or video footage of the dance student for promotional purposes e.g. website, newspapers, and events.
• GENERATION DANCE CO promotes a healthy team environment and students who are consistently absent from class and fall behind jeopardize their opportunity to perform in the end of year Concert. No student will be permitted to perform if they do not know their routines confidently.
Generation Dance Co policy concerning the use of social media.
• Use of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, blogging, and other online social-media vehicles is
commonplace. This policy is intended to provide Generation Dance Co students and parents
with guidelines to eliminate any confusion concerning the use of social media.
• You DO NOT have permission to reveal any information that compromises Generation Dance Co. By that, we mean you are forbidden to share personal information about the principal, other students or their families, or anything that is proprietary and/or confidential to them or
Generation Dance Co.
• Never post anything that could compromise the self-esteem of students who attend Generation Dance Co.
• Videos of classes or rehearsals are not to be posted to any public social media site.
• Generation Dance Co owns the copyright to all choreography taught at the school.
• Photos should not be posted on any social media site unless approval from each person in the
photo has been granted.
• Photos of GDC Costumes are not to be posted to any social media site prior to the Concert,
this includes after the rehearsal, No sneak previews please.
